In some ways it would be cool to own this just to say you do, but even if I had a ton of money I don't think I'd spend that much on a single issue. I'd much rather save the cash or spend a fraction of that for other collectibles or whatever.

If I had the money I would put in a bid for it. It's the most valuable comic in the world and is very rare. Though I would sure be paranoid about something happening to it.

Back in 2010 or 2011 I think a similarly-graded copy of Action Comics #1 went for a little over $2.1 million. Crazy to think someone just paid over $3 million for a comic book that originally sold for around 10 cents.

Like those people that say winning the lottery ruined their life? I have no issue calling most of those people idiots! All some of them did was spend money, all about stuff. I want a few things yet for me it's all about money being a tool and allowing for the freedom of time and being stable. I like the idea of high quality items that last yet not blowing it on million dollar homes and cars.

Being a millionaire and then ending up with more debt then they had is insane.

I don't get it either. They could live off the interest alone!

You won five million dollars! Set for life! Easily, off the interest I imagine.

They could put it in a bullet proof, water proof clear case in a fire proof room!

Investing in Action Comics #1 is no gamble, it's a serious investment. Superman will still be around as a popular brand when our grandchildren are on Social Security and its value has steadily gone up in recent decades. It's no different than investing in art from name artists.

They might find a couple of more copies, but I highly doubt a stash of them will get discovered. Most of the hoarders from that era have passed away or nearing their end. The smarter ones have likely already sold off their personal copies.

It would have to be hidden really well and most are not going to hide a comic no one thought of at the time. A couple more would be cool just to have more out there. A box would be quote a find yet at the same time knock down the price a lot.

I wonder how much fifty near mint, mint copies would go for.

Like I talked about before, the original artwork would be an amazing find. It was saved, hidden away to be found one day.

Well, they would be stupid to tell anyone they found more than one. I would sell one once every few years to make sure the value stays up there.

Fifty mint copies would largely destroy it as an investment vehicle. Prices wouldn't go down that much but its future worth would be greatly diminished.

I had the same thought, I would NEVER say, hey FIFTY COPIES! More like, ONE mint copy!

If they were all put on the market at once I wonder how much each would go for. It could be a rollercoaster for a little bit.

That could happen. Look at the recent find of an old dealership full of cars.
Imagine if there were boxes of these things left over after a month and someone just tossed them into a shed of sorts.
Some people tend to take work home with them, literally. Who knows if some old guy has forgot he has a stash of old comics from when he worked at the printing facility.

It's probably the 2nd best copy in existence. Honestly the 3.2 million is kind of soft for it.
