Holy graffiti, Batman!

Batman graffiti in abandoned building

Apparently this Batman graffiti was found in an abandoned building in Belgium. The Joker wall is awesome. I would love something like that in my apartment.

That's good stuff. The thing about urbex artwork is that it tends to get vandalized even moreso and degraded rather quickly, so I don't expect it to stay up long now that it's out there for the world to see. Some jackass will destroy all of it.

All that Joker stuff would probably warp me if I was sitting next to it in a room all day.

Eh, who cares. I still want my apartment walls painted like that. The only thing missing is Joker with a crowbar.

That's amazing stuff! I wonder if he'd come paint my walls at work? It's run down here too.

That Animated Series wall is pretty astounding. I'll never forget how amazing that show was and it is great to see it get some exposure.

It was my first experience with superhero stuff as a kid, and as an adult now I still hold some of it as a gold standard. Some of it has aged remarkably well. And Kevin Conroy is Batman, there isn't even a close second, he's the definitive characterization of the Dark Knight. Timm and co. did some damn good work on those shows, and I still think Superman: The Animated Series is miles ahead of any live-action interpretations post-Donner, far and away. As DC struggles with Superman and failed projects pile up around their ankles, it looks better and better with each passing year.

And that graffiti is amazing, whoever did that is a pretty extraordinary artist, they imitated the art styles which they were attempting to emulate flawlessly. I can't even imagine how long that took.
