SyFy was originally going to make a six part miniseries based on the comic in 2011, but it was never made. NBC shot a tv pilot in 2013, but they passed on ordering it to series.

I just finished The Sixth Gun Vol. 2 and started Vol. 3.

Immortal Hulk is surprisingly good. Takes what I guess is a new spin on the basic origin of Hulk. The first trade is on Comixology Unlimited.

Thunderstrike: Youth In Revolt

I actually bought this one by mistake, just looking at the issues it collected (Thunderstrike 1-5), and didn't realize that it was the rebooted Thunderstrike. I was bummed.

Until I read it. Good stuff! It really captures the feel of the original Thunderstrike comic, and the art (still by Ron Frenz) gives it the same look. I'm glad I got it!

And, honestly, I liked Thunderstrike more than Thor from the time that TS first came out.

Kind of wary ordering books from Amazon. The last order I had from them turned out like this...

I'm wary of ordering anything from Amazon where condition is paramount. It's like playing Russian roulette with how a book or fragile item gets packaged. If you've seen videos of how Amazon packs items, robotic arms pick the book/item off the warehouse shelf and place it on a conveyor belt for packing by a minimum wage employee. There's no wonder why items get damaged. Ordering more at once is no guarantee of bettering handling, unfortunately.

Last collection I read was this one from Dark Horse. Mainly read it for the Eduardo Risso art; he’s among the best in the business. But it was a fun all-ages adventure.

Hey, does the attachment show ok? And automatically for everyone?

Thanks David! The editor I like to use here doesn’t allow the image button to insert from device easily, so I tested the attachment function. Seems to work well enough, until I figure out a better way.

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you read?

Since collections and original graphic novels are so different, I’d like to rename this thread “...TPB/collection...” and start a new thread for OGNs. That sound ok with anyone?

That makes a lot of sense.
