Has anyone read Templar, Arizona? I am contemplating picking it up, but haven't heard anything about it.

Used the SAVE code. Thanks Malazar. $5 a month for unlimited was a no brainer for me.

Here's that link:

https://groupees.com/lucky7

This one is kind of odd, seven first issues, minimum of $2.

I guess a few of these would be new to me, but this is one bundle I'll skip.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Got a spare $1000 sitting around? DC's weekly sale is on a virtual ton of Batman. Pretty varied set of 1000 $.99 singles from his original appearances to brand new stuff; complements the previous big Batman sales somewhat well.
https://www.comixology.com/Batman-1000-Sale/page/8136

Also until 9/29/15, a sale from IDW on TV and movie comics. 12 collections at ~50% off and 28 $.99 singles on the titles Edward Scissorhands, 24, The Fly, 30 Days of Night, Orphan Black, True Blood, Angel, and Ghostbusters.

Gotham Academy is one I'd probably pick up if it weren't getting sucked into the stupid Robin War crossover in a couple of months. I'm already dropping Grayson that reason.

I just meant the usual $75 to $80 deals on $100 cards (times ten!); but those deals seem to be dry this week.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

It's not live yet but on the DC comics website it says there will be a

"Batman Day One-Day ebook Sale

For one day only, get 18 Batman ebooks for just $3.99 each."

There will also be a free version of Batman Endgame #1.

I just drank the Paypal iTunes gift card kool-aid... "thanks" for the heads up. Make that $3.20 Batman books (saving 20%)...

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Is there an easier way to buy comics on the DC app (so you can use itunes credit) without individually buying every single issue and having to authenticate every time? Or is that some setting I need to change?

I wish it was easier too. You should only have to enter your password once, but then it's three clicks per book.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I'm a digital novice with only free issues on Comixology and some cheap collections on Kindle, but I bought a couple of the Dynamite bundles and am starting to poke around a bit more.

I do like how they have 80-page giants and stuff for $1.99, which seems pretty reasonable. However, I guess it's like any digital service in that new stuff is the priority, and old stuff is "whenever they get around to it." A couple of Bronze Age titles that I've been waiting for reprints of are Mike Grell's Warlord and Superboy and the Legion. On Comixology, there are a couple of random Warlord issues (114-115, $1.99 each), and nine random issues of Superboy/LSH (though that includes the Earthwar arc I want). I remember an interview in which an industry guy said it's not a priority if people can get floppies more cheaply than reprints or, presumably, digital. I have bought a few of the old Legion floppies, but I don't like storing them so a digital option would be of interest to me.

Finding digital issues of Batman and Justice League is not a problem.

They advertise it as half off (since a monthly subscription is 10 bucks a month) but it's only 10 bucks off the annual (69 to 59). If it actually worked on the premium one, I'd probably use it anyway.
