Odd that Avengers (1963) ends at issue 402, with 2 issues of Onslaught tie-ins, but the sale only goes to 400 leaving 2 orphan issues at the end.
I'm all in as well. And luckily (?), I apparently bought 401-402 and all the annuals in the big B1G1 sale, so I'm possibly original Avengers complete now.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Week 3 of DC's Convergence sale includes more 70s/80s/90s goodness and ends 4/27/15. I believe this is the first time that any Alan Moore Swamp Thing has been on sale.
Batman and the Outsiders 1-21
Green Lantern 180-200
Sage of the Swamp Thing 1-28
Omac 1
The Flash 340-350

Another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle collection sale: 20 books (10 from the newish IDW ongoing series and 10 from older runs) ending 4/27/15.

Just a small clarification, 4 of the volumes in the "Even More TMNT!" section (Micro-series, Micro-series Villains, Utrom Empire and Trutles in Time) are actually spin-off books from the current IDW run. They are quite integral to the main series and should not be missed. Unfortunately, there are a couple of spin-off volumes that are not included in the sale.

Thanks rocket. I didn't look at them too closely as that is one sale I'm trying to avoid. I'd probably enjoy it, but I have to draw an occasional line somewhere.

The huge Dark Horse sale starts today. 50% off everything, a stackable extra 10% code coming via their newsletter, and a $2 credit to everyone on their list.
https://digital.darkhorse.com

Bandette #1 has been free before, but it's free again to celebrate its Eisner nomination.
https://www.comixology.com/Bandette-...al-comic/27559

To celebrate the new Submit page art (?), all issues and collections of Doc Unknown are 50% off with code UNKNOWN. Unknown duration, no pun intended. The collections and singles appear to not overlap, anyone know for sure?
https://www.comixology.com/50-Off-Do...NOWN/list/6412

Image is selling their Eisner nominated books at 50% off with code EISNERS, sale ends 4/26/15.
https://www.comixology.com/2015-Imag...Sale/page/6360

Several new foreign sales, and some new #1s for that Marvel True Believers sale on the main sale page.

The Dark Horse digital sale seems live now; prices are showing up as 50% off.

...still no newsletter coupon.

Already have swamp thing, but I did get some of the Image stuff. The Dark Horse extra 10% off code is DHD4YEAR for anyone who didn't get the email. Also I liked the Doc Unknown first issue. Good pulpy fun. Really good comixology submit comic.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

As someone who just dropped a lot of money on that Image sale, I'm hesitant to do this, but what do people recommend from Dark Horse? I think I've read a total of 3 Dark Horse comics that weren't Star Wars in my entire life.

Hellboy, The Goon and Usagi Yojimbo are all great. I've heard good things about Mind MGMT and The Massive, but I haven't read them.

Dark Horse is hands down the best publisher in the history of comics, imho.

Grendel, Mage (not on digital, alas), Nexus, Goon, Hellboy and all the related, Usagi, the Star Wars stuff (gone), Dark Horse Presents, and so many more.

Concrete! How could I forget Concrete?

Groo, Sin City, all the Aliens and Predator and Terminator books, X, Conan and Kull, Creepy and Eerie.

As much as I've loved DC since I was about 5 years old, if I was forced to only read one publishers library for the rest of my life it'd be Dark Horse with no hesitation.

The huge sale from the best publisher of comics since the 80s is still going. 50% off everything, a stackable extra 10% code of DHD4YEAR from their newsletter, and a $2 credit to everyone on their list.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Marvel tweeted out two new coupon codes today, in celebration of their Eisner nominations:

Get Captain Marvel #1 (2014) for $1 with the coupon code CAROL

Get Ms. Marvel Vol. 1 (TPB) for 50% off with the code KAMALA

Note that these must redeemed at Marvel's Storefront, not Comixology.

Correction: Comixology just tweeted the same codes. So maybe they will work on there too.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Now that they have been doing these full run of Avengers sales, I somewhat regret that I had committed to the omnibus route. Oh well, let's see what the damage will be this year for the Dark Horse sale as I am about to start loading up my cart. Last year, I bought everything I remotely wanted and have read next to none of it, so at least it should probably be cheaper than that was. I hope.

Comixology/Dynamite is having a Jungle Girl "sale" concurrent with all items being included in the $6.00 (+free) bundles; I wonder how that's going to work for them. https://www.comixology.com/Dynamite-...dles/list/6306

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I got out of the Dark Horse sale for less than $25. Four Usagi Yojimbo collections (I'm up to vol. 23), two Goon collections and a Goon one-shot I needed.
