Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I see that I missed the last X-Factor sale, so will try to ignore this one and wait for a possible future bundle.

Dark Horse is also having a big Vampirella bundle: 65 items, many of them collections, 4363 pages, for $99.

No bundle but I just hit add all to cart. It would have to be cheaper than 99 cents to make me hit the button 198 times.

For a while I didn't realize the "Add all to cart" button was there. For my first few sales, I did go through and hit the 'Add to Cart' button on each issue.

To make matters worse, I didn't go back after to make sure I got every single issue and on a couple sales I later found I missed an issue or two.

It's on every series page on the web, and I think in the android apps, but not in all the iOS apps.

On the sales series page? I must be blind. The web site is a little different on my computer when compared to my ipad, but I don't see an add all button on either.

There's no "add all" button on the Sales page itself but if you click "View More" then it's in the upper left hand column for each category (or when viewing non-sale general series information).

There is, and always has been an 'add all" button on this and every Conicology sale page I've ever seen. I mainly use safari on iOS, but it's there on ie too.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

New sale on Letter 44, a great book from Oni.

And that no 'add all' button really confuses me. I know you guys aren't blind, but that button is on EVERY single page of Comixology, often multiple times on each page, EVERY single time I've ever been on it, which is at least a billion times. There's got to be something we're missing. Oh, I'm always logged in. Could that be it?

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I honestly could not find the add all button anywhere, not on the view more sales page or anywhere else. I think there was one on the series page but then that would add everything that wasn't on sale too. Can someone grab a screenshot so I can see how dumb I am? I did go ahead and click the add to cart button 60+ times for x-factor anyway.

Fuji, what browser and platform are you using? That 'add all' button has always been on every single page of Comixology, sale or not, logged in or not, iOS or PC, for me.

Got it, thanks! It's a weird glitch, though, since the title of the book is the identifying number. The regular kindle edition is $12.

New freebie from Dark Horse; Matt Kindt Builds Characters
https://digital.darkhorse.com/profil...cters-sampler/

A couple top non-US titles on sale at Comixology: volume 1 of The White Lama and El Niņo are $1.98 each.
https://www.comixology.com/comics-sale?list_id=5544

Kind of random, but the 349 page web comic compilation The Devil's Panties Volume 1 is only $.99 right now.
https://www.comixology.com/The-Devil...al-comic/93229

From DC, the first volume of the new 52 Suicide Squad is on sale for $4.99, unknown duration.

This independent title has a cool premise imho, and will qualify for our March Action/Adventure Challenge; $.99 for The Markings issue 1.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

There's a "buy one get one free" code for anything Marvel publishes good until 2/23/15; seemingly an epic deal even if it doesn't work on bundles. Use coupon code MARVEL on comixology.com

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Comixology has a Coupon:
Buy One Get One Free on all Marvel comics with the code MARVEL at check out

And this code isn't one that just applies once to your cart, it's a 1:1 ratio, so if you add 10 books to your cart, you will get 5 free.

Note: Coupon does not work on bundles, books by Marvel imprints (Max & Icon specifically named) and the free books will be determined as the ones that are of equal or lesser value than the ones you are paying for.

Edit: Ah, you beat me. lol.

I'm impressed by how well the cart seems to match prices to get you the best deal. It doesn't just automatically make the cheapest item free.
