How does the 75% credit on the Kirby book work? I don’t see anything about it on the page.

I went ahead and got the Marvel book, I had a few $1 digital credits from using slow shipping lately.

Unlimited already has more comics than DC Universe the first week. DC dropped the ball.

There is a Fantagraphics linewide 'sale' on Comixology and several items that are curious to be but wow are their prices disproportionate. Even on sale these are often much more than DC, Marvel, or Image. Although I do wonder if part of this isn't that more 'indie' comics just cost more to publish because of lower volume sales and the need to support less mainstream comics.

Looking at the Comixology site, they have some really good prices on the Love and Rockets Library volumes. $5.99 is quite a bargain for 250-300 pages of content when you consider a typical 20 page Marvel or DC book is $3.99.

I’m debating going all-in on Love and Rockets finally. I’ve read a sampling over the years and enjoyed it, but keep holding off on a serious buy/read. Wait, has it been bundled before?

Yeah, it’s the economics of scale. Fantagraphics is a specialty publisher with lower print runs than Marvel and DC, fewer merchandising opportunities, and, as such, most of their income comes from publishing, so they have to keep their prices higher. Also, the typical Fantagraphics reader is also willing to pay more than mainstream readers.
So yeah, I’m OK with paying 50+% off on sale, but I don’t go crazy either. I usually buy a handful of Disney/Peanuts books in each sale, figuring these are probably not going out of print any time soon, and eventually I’ll have all the ones I want. I also just picked up a Pogo to try.
