I used it last night exclusively on sale items when I bought some Claymore manga volumes. Definitely weird!

That's weird. I loaded up on New Gods and Mr Miracle and the coupon worked fine for me.

Summer5 is working for me on Kirby items; at lease with Forever people.

Coupon worked for me on OMAC. Usually coupons just don't stack with other coupons but are fine with sale items.

Some great books on sale, if rather a clunky way to get them. No Comixology link that I can find.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Humblebundle has a new GI Joe/Transformers IDW bundle up. They seem to have one every few months, though this is the first time I can remember them putting up the big collections. I've bought a lot of the Transformers comics included many times over in both comixology and humble bundle, but I'm missing some of the early issues and I haven't really read a lot of GI Joe, so I bit.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I've bought a bunch of the transformers bundles over the years, but have never read much of them. Part of the problem is the IDW's strategy of doing multiple one shots and limited series all the while constantly rebooting the main series. Trying to figure out the reading order (especially for transformers) can be painful. The IDW Collection volumes solve this problem by putting everything in order. This bundle is worth it alone for those volumes even if a good chunk of it would be repeats for me. I don't think I have any g.i. Joe at all, so it's probably a no brainer.

Yeah the ordering is the other thing. I have a ton of these issues in singles, and the way comixology groups them makes it hard to keep track, especially when they do a crossover between series.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I've gotten a few e-mail alerts that "Your refund from Comics by comiXology using Amazon Pay is complete" listing amounts between $0.10 and $2.98; has anyone else gotten these or know of any explanation? My immediate suspicion is that maybe Comixology charged tax when they didn't need to (?) but the amounts don't seem to make sense.

I haven't gotten any of those emails and I purchase on a regular basis.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Comixology sent out personalized discount codes for 60% off Dynamite comics, stacks with the Jack Kirby sale, expired 9/5/17. E-mail is titled "Just for you: save up to 60% on Dynamite comics and graphic novels!," I received it 8/22/17 at 2:04pm CST.

Hopefully everyone got one, if not these personal codes are mysterious and targeted offers are uncool.

I hope no one spent their one-time use Dynamite 60% off on Battlestar Galactica books. Own all ~120 comics for $15 at Humble.

And for reference, here again is a spreadsheet with all the various bundles.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I remember buying a Comixology BSG bundle, and my app says it's about 60 issues. Even though Humble doesn't sync with Comixology, it'd almost be worth it to get that bundle just so I'd know it was all in the same place.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I'm not sure if this is a pricing error but the 285 page Marvel Masterpiece Golden Age All-Winners volume 1 is $6.99 for digital on Comixology or $3.50 on Amazon. The print edition sells for $29.99 and most Marvel Masterworkers are $16.99.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074HNJS7K

Amazon won't seem to let me check out but maybe others will have luck.

Nice price! My guess is that it's not an error because the Golden Age Captain America is the same price for a similar number of pages, and Amazon tends to price their Masterworks at half the price of Comixology for whatever reason. In general, I'm not a huge Golden Age fan but I might pick up this one for its combination of heroes.

^ That appears to be an old offer. Terms show it expiring in June.

But bought the freebies anyway, no promo email yet. Unless I did it already back in June, and maybe this deal still works for people who haven't used it.

Oh, I didn't notice any dates, but my email came about 2 hours later.

The email says credit must be used by 10/22/17, and the link to Terms and condtions on there
(https://www.amazon.com/gp/promotions...9530_251286870) says Offer expires at 11:59 p.m. (PST) (October 21, 2017)

Anyway, I got Infinity: 1 for free.

Many thanks to IDrinkMolton! This offer worked for me, I scored Iron Man Ironheart for free after downloading one of the listed freebies. This seems to be a new offer, it's the second time I got a free Marvel digital trade with Kindle comic 'purchase' - I also redeemed a free trade in a similar offer months ago. Great find.
