Thanks for the info to all. Don't know how I missed that news.

That makes sense if you already have everything. I'll probably pick up some single issues of the Legion that have come out since the last BOGO, and I recently discovered Batgirl of Burnside so I'll probably get some of that.

As someone who buys most of his digital comics via the Kindle store using Amazon credits, I'm a little annoyed that this sale isn't available on that end. When Marvel does the BOGO ComiXology sales their Kindle prices are usually just cut in half, but I guess none of the other publishers want to take that step. Bummer.

The sale include Vertigo titles as well as digital only titles.

Not that the insane Amazon sale from Marvel wasn't bonkers but I think this is the 3rd or 4th linewide DC discount code since Marvel last issued one. However, since it seems like these generous linewide sales so often overlap Im sure Marvel isnt far off. Theres a few singles I'd like from Marvel so I can retire from purchasing for a while.

Huge Dark Horse Store sale, 99 cent singles, a Sin City bundle, a good bargain Lone Wolf and Cub bundle.

Buy 1 get 1 free Image sale on the main page. Too many restrictions and doesn't include any title published after April 21st, so nothing for me. I am all caught up with back list and would just fill in the current series I'm reading.

50% of Fantagraphics books as well now, using code F17 at checkout.

Prices are still expensive even after the 50% off, though, in comparison to the other big companies, which is a shame, as there are interesting titles.

One thing that seems strange is that there are no Clowes books offered digitally via Fantagraphics, for some reason. If they already have their catalog available, why not offer all of it?

Maybe because it's local and I know some people who work there, I don't think of Fantagraphics as a big company. Comparable to Dark Horse maybe, but certainly smaller than Image. But I'm not super-knowledgeable about the industry.

As far as digital content available, I was wondering the same thing. I was looking for their Uncle Scrooge titles, and my first thought was rights issues with Disney, but maybe they just choose to not make it available.

What I'm wondering is if the sale will be replicated on Amazon, as it seems that hasn't been happening lately for a number of sales. One of the reasons I didn't buy anything in the recent Peanuts sale was because there were only a few volumes that Amazon matched the pricing for, but maybe this is becoming a thing. I would like to get some Peanuts and some of those Wally Wood strips (Shattuck, Cannon), and ideally they'd be on both Amazon and Comixology.

Not sure what thread(s) this is best in, but wanted to make sure that fans saw it. New Humble Bundle digital book bundle is on a bunch of those x and Philosophy books, including many comic-related ones like Watchmen, Spider-man, and Iron Man. Others include Game of Thrones, Family Guy, Star Trek, Star Wars, and Walking Dead. It seems to be decently regarded series, and you can't beat the price. 6 books for $1, or 12 for $8, or all 19 for $15.

I may use it on the first two Walking Dead compendiums. Haven't read the series, so I figure thirty-some dollars for the first 96 issues isn't too bad.

I got all three compendiums in the last Image sale. When they're already reduced, the B1G1F stacks up to considerable savings.

Avatar Press has a 75% off linewide discount with code AVATAR17.

Edit: Looks like majorjoe23 below is correct, mature content books can be found through the Comixology app by searching 'My Books.' Many thanks for the clarification!

Curiously over 20% off Avatar's releases do not show up on my android Comixology app (16 series omitted out of 76 including Crossed, Ferals, etc as no shows). Comics that are more explicit don't seem to be offered through the [Android?] app - does anyone know how to get around this? I have noticed that after purchasing a title you can access it in your 'Smart List' but it doesn't show up anywhere else and that's a bummer. Seeming with mature title that are DRM protected you'd have to pull them up through Comixology's inferior webpage reader.

Odd, I'm IOS, but when I bought Crossed in a previous sale, the issues showed up in the recently purchased section of my app. Also when I search in the "my books" section.

The sale is also available on the Comic Cavalade website ( https://www.comcav.net/) where you get a DRM-free Cbz file, which is a major plus, but you have to navigate using a horrific UI system, which is a major minus. Shame the same books aren't offered as DRM-Free on Comixology as well.

I've bought a few Avatar books in the past, mostly the Crossed (full at the time) bundle, but haven't read much. Taking advantage of this sale to sample a few 25 and 50 cent starter issues.

I think Uber is a really good series worth trying.

How is Crossed?

I've been sampling some Avatar titles. Anna Mercury and Fevre Dreams I could read more of, but don't feel compelled to. Uber is more intriguing but I was confused by the assortment of characters in issue 0. Still have to read Providence.

Check your emails. Got a $5 off $15 for Comixology with code Summer5. Doesn't look like a unique code.

I got the code too, and it expires end of day 8/10.

Some good sales at Dark Horse, a $40 Angel megabundle and 99 cent issues of Umbrella Academy.

Couldn't get the summer5 coupon to work with a cart full of the Kirby sale, tried multiple times and browsers. Thought it might not work with sale items, but it worked fine with some Shadow books. Odd.
