I got it as well. I bought Pretty Deadly #2-8 and Rocket Girl #7.

I think I've pretty much mined Image for every title that actually interests me now.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Love is in the air I guess, as everyone is having their romance sales.

From DC we get the Batman Adventures Mad Love: Deluxe Edition on sale for $7.99; it jumps the regular edition from 66 pages to 145 pages, but no new story content, just commentary and layouts sort of stuff I'm pretty sure. I can't imagine that being worth the $8 upgrade (let alone regular price of $17!) over the standard $2 edition. This "sale" ends 2/15/16.
https://www.comixology.com/Batman-Ad...l-comic/195489

From IDW until 2/14/16, a Valentines Sale that includes six collections at $2-4 and eleven $.99 singles of Weird Love.
https://www.comixology.com/IDW-Valen...Sale/page/9741

From Archie until 2/14/16, 50% every book released before 2/10/16 with code VDAY.
https://www.comixology.com/Archie-Va...Sale/page/9729

From Kirby and Simon, and Fantagraphics until 2/14/16, a sale on three collections of Young Romance.
https://www.comixology.com/Young-Romance-Sale/page/9743

An Indie Valentine's Sale includes various newer indie romance singles and collections at mostly 50% off or more, ends 2/14/16.
https://www.comixology.com/Indie-Val...Sale/page/9742

And the most romantic sale of all, more Deadpool. The entire 2012-2015 series, issues 1-45 and three annuals at $.99 each until 2/18/16.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Yet another week without a DC sale. Unless you count the crappy 25% off one item sale, which I'm not even going to dignify with a link. Please don't take advantage of it everyone. The more times we partake in less than 50% off sales the more the companies will think it's working and they can lower discounts. Just say no.

The only sales I ever partake in are the 99 cent singles sales.

There are some single issues that are regularly 99 cents, like Batman Animated stuff. You can use this code to get a further discount off books like that that DC doesn't normally discount.

Well, a discount off one issue.

Man, I was gonna skip out on the IDW sale, but the bundles (of all things) are tempting, just have to calculate if they're worth it since I have some of the titles already.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Isn't this Comixology's first 'single use' discount code ever?

I don't 'get it' with DC's slow sales, but last year they had a lull for a while.

I'm leaning towards the GI Joe bundle myself; I wasn't ever a big GI Joe fan but the comics look interesting enough.

Yeah, you save a whole quarter, but I think any use of the coupon will just justify the continued lame discounts to DC's digital decision makers. I'll give you a quarter next time I see you.

Well, you'll save more money if you want for this year's B1G1F sale anyway.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

No Trevor for 3 days? Couple of sales today. Brubaker at Image which is a must buy if you don't have. Also Unity sale at Valiant which is also good.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Probably the most useless sale Comixology has ever had, since we all obviously own all of this Ed Brubaker goodness from Image already. Fatale, Criminal, The Fade Out, Velvet, and Scene of the Crime sale ends 2/22/16.
https://www.comixology.com/Ed-Brubaker-Sale/page/9744

Unity sale from Valiant until 2/22/16, most has been bundled before.
https://www.comixology.com/Unity-Sale/page/9769

Today only sale from Marvel on the recent X-Force and Nightcrawler runs.
https://www.comixology.com/X-Force-Sale/page/9808

Blacklist sale from Titan, unknown duration.
https://www.comixology.com/The-Black...how/list/10062

From Humanoids, The White Lama Vol 1 is on sale.

That $5 off $15 on Image comics at Comixology that only some of us got stacks nicely with sale items.

Yeah, they didn't even add the last Fade out issue to the sale.

Conflicted on this - on one hand, it sounds like a good sale, but on the other - there hasn't been a Valiant bundle for a long long time now, so one should probably be coming. Maybe it's better to wait for it instead?

I only own Fatale and have no desire to read the rest.
