What are your favorite somewhat unknown Marvel characters?

And please give a brief description of who they are.

Thanks!!!!

Uatu: The Watcher. An alien who is supposed to observe the actions of the other characters but not interfere. He has interfered though in the past, helping to save Earth from destruction from Galactus, being his first and most notable act. I like him because he's mysterious and associated with the "What If?" comics that are always fun diversions.

Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme. I've never really thought of him as third string, but looking at his history and treatment by Marvel, and it's pretty obvious he is. In short, he's a badass magician and genius.

Black Panther (as written by Christopher Priest)
Iron Fist
Deadpool use to be, but now he seems to be moving up in the world.
Random(although he is more 10th string)

You guys have a tough definition of first and second string if Iron Fist, Black Panther, and Dr. Strange all slip down to the third string!

I was going to say the same thing. All these guys have had multiple solo series and been a part of the universe for decades. Fairly popular and well known characters.

The Watcher has been involved in some of the most important events and series himself. Maybe he's third string but he's still been important.

Third and fourth string characters to me are guys like Paste Pot Pete, Water Wizard, Batroc, etc. You know...the ones that suck.

I was gonna say Dazzler and Longshat, I loved them when they in the Early 200's of Uncanny X-men...

The Wrecking Crew was great as well...I love the new Marvel Universe figs of them...never thought I'd have a full set of the WC before the FF

Madrox the Multiple Man, current leader of X-Factor and maybe my favorite Marvel character.

I am a big fan of Vision and I did like US Agent, the Falcon, and Banshee.

I didn't go with the "fairly unknown" as much as the "third and fourth string." Figuring Spider-Man, Captain America, and FF were first tier, third tier seemed OK for my guys.
