I am simply obsessed with the feet. I don't know how he has ever seen feet in 95% of the positions he draws them in. In that panel, he draws them like they are standing on tiptoes and a foot that's narrower than the ankle it's attached to. While on flat ground.
It is incredibly bad.

I don't think he spends anywhere nears as much time on the art as he did when he was working on New Mutants. Also, he inks while driving: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZ9hjJabvaI

Liefeld is holding a contest for people to write a short story with his characters. Sad to say, as an aspiring cartoonist, that working for Liefeld, or possibly Erik Larsen, is probably my best bet to getting into the comics industry.

Sal Buscema? I read the Kree-Skrull War, his artwork wasn't terrible. It was undistinguished, certainly, especially next the dynamic Neal Adams stuff, but it was clean and efficient.

That's gotta be intentional. Even a hand is missing.

Still not a perfect Liefeld rendering, though.
You'll notice that the sword looks like it is actually gripped in his hand the blade looks like it's coming from the hilt.

Rob wants to Kickstart a free issue of an updated Brigade:
Re-imaged = Feet and no pouches.
EXTREME!!!
BRIGADE and its creator Rob Liefeld ( Deadpool, Cable, X-Force ) are returning to comics and we want everyone to get a FREE copy of the re-imagined Brigade! Brigade launched in the summer of 1992 and was one of the most popular books at Image Comics. The book featured a colorful cast of characters, Battlestone, Coldsnap, Lethal, Seahawk, Thermal, Stasis and Roman united against the forces of evil. The cast and concept of Brigade have been radically updated and re-imagined and I’d like everyone to get a copy for free! I can only do this with your support and commitments on Kickstarter. Last year, Top Cow productions successfully re-launched Cyber Force with this Free Initiative, inspiring this Brigade launch!
By funding this Free Initiative you are helping provide Free copies of Brigade to comic stores in the U.S. and Canada as well as Free digital downloads of Brigade. The more money raised, the more FREE copies and issues we can produce. A FREE comic breaks through all barriers and crosses all ages, a free comic provides a risk-free experience that can create a doorway into a new world of imagination and wonder. Brigade with its fresh, bold direction and characters will provide a dynamic comic book experience for readers old and new.
