Armchair QB - What do you think the industy should do to get kids back into comics?

The only thing I want to add is this.
Back in "the day", a lot of these comics were more light hearted. Even when they were serious, there was still a sense of adventure. Comics this generation have really went more in the standard of a soap opera and have lost that sense of adventure. I'm not saying to get rid of all the drama, but for kids to be interested, they need to drop things like "so and so is pregnant", "so and so is a gay" and all that other stuff that is simply wrote to add drama for the adult reader.
If the industry gets back to the basics, the sense of adventure, then the kids will read them.
