Oooh, I'm Buying That: August 2007 Previews

We skipped a month with the Preview threads.

I haven't read a Superman title in a while, but this month's announcement of the new artist on Action is enough to get me to try it again: Gary Frank!

What else new caught your eye?

I'll second your choice. I'm a huge fan of Frank, and I'm really looking forward to his Superman.

The El Cazador TPB is only $10 through dcbservice.com and I highly recommend it - its the Crossgen book that lasted 6 issues with art by Steve Epting (now on Capt America) and written by Chuck Dixon. I have the singles and still almost bought it again

I did pick up the Master Chief Kotobuykia statue, the Dynamo 5 TPB (only $5!), and, of course, Marvel Zombies 2 #1. I'm also excited for Foolkiller #1, big fan of Medina.

And even tho #1 was last month, I was jazzed to see the return of Hitman to DC in the JLA/Hitman miniseries (I think only two issues?).

All this AND a new issue of Fell!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is this title:

A graphic novel or a book with a few illustrations in it? Anyone know? Thanks!

I'm torn, as usual. I love Gary Frank, and I'm a huge fan of the Legion, but I'm 99% sure that DC will collect this arc.

It's a book. It might have a few small black and white drawings at each chapter break like hellboys other books, but it's a novel.

Mignola doesn't draw anymore.
