So, who's going to San Diego?

I'll be there Wed. through Sun.

I'll be there Thursday and Friday...so since they aren't sending badges by mail, should I get there as early as possible on Thursday? I hear the lines get pretty big...

I should be there all 4 days.

The lines are incredibly long. You get there early, you're just going to stand there in line with everyone else for 3 hours.

I'd show up around 11am-noon. By that time the line is basically gone and you can practically walk right up and get your badge. If you show up at 8am and wait, it's going to take that long anyway.

Isn't it better to show up on Wednesday night to pick up your badge?

I'll be picking mine up on Wednesday night. Not sure if the lines will be better, but hey, what can you do? We all have to wait, so whatever.

I'll be there the whole weekend as an exhibitor.

Wed-Monday. One of my best friends lives there and I am in San Diego every so often to visit anyway.

We started a thread in the otter forum about meeting up. Anyone interested?

i'll be there for the whole shebang. eight year in a row with my buddies, we've got fourteen of us going this year. i hope to score another commission from this forum's own Ethan van Sciver! :-)

I'll be there from wed-Sun as always. I expect to see Devil at hooters once again.

This Time I will be prepared. Walkie-talkies, no Hall H.

Hall H is all about Saturday. I'd rather sit in the AC filled room than have to deal with the floor anyways.

I'm thinking about going on Saturday, but I had a question: how are exclusives usually handled? Will most be sold out on Thursday, or do they keep equal stock for each day, so I at least have a chance at a ticket lottery?

most wont be sold out on thursday. They have a way of spreading enough out through the weekend but to be honest, saturday is an awful day to get anything done on the floor.

Tickets also for that day may be completely sold out to get into the convention.

I just bought tickets yesterday, so it's not sold out yet...

I mean thursday of the con. so in two weeks. By a surprise turn of events, yesterday did see the sell out of the four day passes.

I'll be there Weds-Sun. I'll be camped out in Hall H all day Friday and a lot on Saturday. As MBoyd pointed out there is a thread in Otter. Some of us are meeting at Hooters after badge pick-up on Weds. After much nourishment we'll head to Preview Night.

Holy cow. You are a member here. I just have to say Thank you very very much. At Wizard World last year I took you up my GL:Rebirth HC to get a simple signing and you did this awesome head sketch of Hal out of the blue. I was really surprised and that's one of my favorite sketches I have in my collection.

Yeah, I'm always game for Comic con. Got my four day passes and good to go.

I am going to try and make it to Hooters. My buddy has his MBA class on wed nights so I think he can drop me off after we get the badges.
