Well, I guess I don't need to read that issue now that I've had it spoiled.

Just found out my LCS had no idea this was going to happen in Captain America #25. I have a feeling this book was way under-ordered and demand will be huge very soon....

Eventhough I know CA will be back, it is a bit sad for the time being.

What did I spoil? It's front page news on Yahoo! It's not like I read the damn comic and told you what was in it. Also, don't tell me you didn't know months in advance that Superman was going to die. It was all over the news.

Yeah, let me know more about Batman:Oddysey. I've been searching for info. on it and haven't found any. I'd appreciate it.

What did I spoil? Please explain and I apologize if I did 'cause I didn't write anything about plot points or tell the story.

Hmmm, interesting. Just because it's on the news means I should already know that Captain America dies? At least the news sites that I read don't spoil the story in the headline.

Before you even click on the story the first line in the article already states this.

Changed the subject to something more generic.

Glad I picked up the issue before hitting this forum or any news sites this afternoon.

ok, now everyone has to put spoiler tags in their posts.

I'm not going to bother reading it. It's ruined.

Like I mentioned in the Civil War thread, I don't know what my future will be with this book. I've been buying Captain America prety much solid since the mid-80's, so I've obviously been through a lot of ups and downs, and I've loved Brubaker's run, but when Civil War finally made it's way into the Cap solo title, I was a little lost, because I hadn't read any of the other CW tie-ins. So with something this major going down, I don't know if it's going to be something I will be able to follow through buying only one title, and that sucks. I guess I'll see how it's handled for a few issues, before I make a decision.

If this was Brubaker's "Uncanny X-Men", you might have a point. However, he's been great on Cap. It's a damn shame they couldn't make this book separate from the rest of the shitty MU.
