They did ship my Kirby Is Fantastic and Mighty. I wasn't planning on getting them, but I have no will power. At least now I'll have something to go along with my Ditko Is Amazing
got a shipping notice for Daredevil today so hopefully you will get yours as well.

I ordered Kirby is...Mighty, Marvel Age of Comics, and Guardians Treasury Edition. I hedged on Thor Omni 3 and DD Omni 1. Wish I had ordered Daredevil, maybe I'll go back and order Thor.

These are all likely to come remainder marked, right? Unless by luck the pen doesn't fully pierce the plastic?

Kirby is...Mighty! and Marvel Age of Comis(Tashcen) were new and in plastic (The big Kirby book was in a heavy duty 4-5 mil plastic bag), not remainders. The Guardians of the Galaxy Treasury has a small black mark on the top very close to the spine, pretty sure it is a remainder mark. I didn't order any omnibi, and as a note, the DD vol 1 omnibus is back in stock. I still have not pulled the trigger. I'll wait for it to go out of stock and then regret it.

I got my books yesterday (Daredevil omni, Kirby Is Mighty, Kirby Is Fantastic) and they were all in plastic and did not have any remainder marks.

Re: Comic Book Bargains & Hot Deals

book outlet has

John Romita's The Amazing Spider-Man (Artisan Edition)

for 19.99 vs. 39.99, it's the Artisan edition, so paperback and 12x8 instead of a giant hardcover. Still the Romita art it gorgeous. 6 copies left, shipping is 5 bucks, unless you hit $35, and they have a buy 2 get 1 free going on, which made me buy more. If you can get this when Target does buy 2 get 1, it's like $26 or $27.

Re: Comic Book Bargains & Hot Deals

bookoutlet has remainder omnibus', trades, epic collections and a few gallery and treasury editions from Marvel. $35 order gets you free shipping.

Omni's $40-$50, Gallery's $13, Epics about $15. maybe 8-10 omni's. But, seems like a fair amount of epic collections and a ton of trades.

Re: Comic Book Bargains & Hot Deals

looks like Previews has a listing for a new Frank Miller Daredevil Omni printing, Which retailer usually has the best discount on this? My comic store can do 25% but didnt know if others did a bit better. It is listed at $100.

Re: Comic Book Bargains & Hot Deals

If you're preordering, dcbs has either version for $54 (46% off), I don't remember how much shipping is though.

https://www.dcbservice.com/search/daredevil%20omnibus

or if you wait until it comes out, Instocktrades should have it but at a lesser discount (38%?). Or you can try Cheapgraphicnovels. We have a thread for retailers you can ask in as well:

It looks like you can get $10 off pretty much any book automatically thanks to Prime Day. I found a $12 book I wanted and got it for $2.

But it looks like it’s only good once.

I think you were just seeing your $10 credit from your Prime Day stampcard. It was showing up as "Prime Day savings" on any item's purchase page, until you spent it.

Re: Comic Book Bargains & Hot Deals

More looking for a bargain and need to know where to look. Planning to pick up this
Spiderman Venom Omnibus Spiderman Venom Omnibus
and have never bought one before. I don't need to have it on or around release day if Omnibuses can regularly be found at a discount later on. If there isn't a good chance of getting it much cheaper will order it from my local shop next time I go there.

Really excited for this, I was only into comics for about 8 months as a kid. During that time I collected and read every issue included in this except for the ghost rider one off. Am even looking forward to rereading Maximum Carnage which helped killed my comic fandom for a long time.

Re: Comic Book Bargains & Hot Deals

It doesn't come out in March. Once it comes out you can probably get it on InstockTrades or even amazon for cheap. If you want to preorder you can order at places like dcbs (but you have to do it this month):
https://www.dcbservice.com/search/venom%20omnibus

they have the normal version and the Bagley variant.

CheapGraphicNovels.com also has a preorder but it's slightly more expensive (no idea what shipping is like in both places though)

Re: Comic Book Bargains & Hot Deals

Thanks for the quick response! I don't care about the Bagley variant. Around how much would you expect to get it for after release? Going to ask my shop what they'll charge regardless but expecting it to be the cover price there.

Re: Comic Book Bargains & Hot Deals

At InStockTrades.com, they generally have Marvel stuff for 38% off, meaning it will be 77.50. They might have it as a Deal of the Week when it comes out, in that case it will be 46% off, bringing it to 67.50.

Re: Comic Book Bargains & Hot Deals

Unless there is a price mistake going on, pre-ordering omnibuses off Amazon never makes sense. Ever since they lost a boatload of money on Marvel omnibuses about a decade ago when their pricing mechanism mistakenly slashed listings by 80%, they price most pre-orders at full price.

Tons of Marvel and DC omnibuses have major coupon discounts on Amazon at the moment. Dropping them as low as I've seen from Amazon.

I think they were matching the Target 20% off because most of the coupons I was looking at disappeared overnight (the Target ad reset today, Sunday)

Barnes and Noble is running a 50% off all hardcover books, including graphic novels. Lots of deals around including people finding IDW’s Artists Editions

Re: Comic Book Bargains & Hot Deals

I picked up the new Reckless book and Fantastic Four: Full Circle for half off at BN. Pretty sweet deal. I was hoping there might be a copy of the second Parker: Martini Edition, but no such luck.

In store only, lines were fairly long at two different locations I visited.
