What are your favorite web strips?

Anyone read web strips? Although I can't get to 'em everyday, I do have some favorites. Danielle Corsetto's Girls with Slingshots is fun. I also really like Wes Molebash's comedy about a married couple, You'll Have That. Then there's America, Jr. and The Chelation Kid, to great strips with two totally different tones.

What are your favorites? And perhaps more importantly, why do you enjoy them?

I like xkcd . Science/math/nerd humor, but it works for me.

Apple Geeks I just found out about yesterday, but it is professional quality. Very neat looking web-comic. I haven't read it yet, but I can't wait to dig into it.

Year One. If you like Marvel comics, there is no reason for you not to be reading this strip.

Being an older geek, I'm not too familiar with the whole web comic thing, but I do check out Alien Loves Predator every now and then.

I like the ubiquitous PvP and Order of the Stick.

Recently, I discovered Legendary, which is basically Order of the Stick set in a Japanese console RPG instead of a pen-and-paper RPG.

Achewood is my personal favorite.

Gotta love the Internet. Some of the ones you guys suggested are pretty good. The only web comic I read on a regular basis is PVP.

Hey, thanks for all the links. :)

One of the few web comics that I keep going back to is Dudley's Dungeon. But I suppose that won't make much sense if you haven't played NetHack.

I don't know if this counts because it's animated but it's short and comes in episodes...I've been following it for some time now.

EDIT to add: I has a strip format too. Hmm, I didn't know that.

Just wanted to bump this and give some of my suggestions for fun webcomics, and hopefully people can point me to some other fun ones.

Shortpacked! is a strip about a guy who works at a toy store who is obsessed with collecting figures. It has a lot of fun 80's references, and is well written.

Ted The Purple Gerbil is an amusing one panel strip that is funny and a little shocking at times.

This last one is a little weird. There are a bunch of different comic strips drawn by this girl, but the two I find especially funny are Activities for Rainy Days and Ghost Farm.

Now, I'm going to go check out the comics mentioned above other than the ones I already read.

a lot of blow job jokes, so nsfw.

Bronkster 09-27-07 11:39 PM

Thank you!! I saw a few of those but didn't know where they came from! Page is bookmarked!

spainlinx0 09-28-07 11:57 AM

Yup, I love the Perry Bible Fellowship as well. I'm thinking of picking up his book at Amazon.

vili 09-28-07 12:44 PM

If you like Perry Bible Fellowship, then Cyanide and Happiness might be something you would like to check out as well. I find the humour quite similar. Both are certainly among my favourites.

Also, while not strictly speaking a web comic per se, I Can Has Cheezburger is one of the funniest things out there.

Bash.org is also on my list of "daily funnies".

Curiously, the strip I recommended earlier on in this thread has been quite poor ever since I mentioned it.
