Due to the overwhelming demand(I think three people wanted it), I am starting this thread for people to list what they have for trade and want they are looking for.

On topic: What are the rules here? I have a complete collection of Cerebus phonebooks I don't think I'll ever read again. I don't really want to give one of those up 1:1 on a $10 MSRP book. :shrug:

^I kinda started this thread so we could get started on talking about this. I envision it to be a FS/FT/WTB thread really. I just think that we can keep it clean and maintain our list in our first post on what we want to get rid of or post. And I left my list out of the OP so that I could update it with the general way we want to run this.

More directly to your comment, it should really be negotiated to a fair trade between two people. Like you give up a $20 trade for two $10 trades. Just makes sense to me.

I have a hardcover "Jack Kirby: Marvel Visionaries" in NM shape (I paged through it once) I'd like to trade off...looking for some Ultimate titles HCs.

I'll have to look through my stuff, but I would like to start off by putting these comics on the table, if anyone is interested. I'd prefer to part with them as one lot.

Aside from just exchanges, I think it would be ok to sell things in here as well (as long as there is a posted price and not an "auction" format; similar to how the dvd exchange forum works).

i haven't seen it yet, but when people post their trade books, why don't they post wants as well, ala the dvd exchange board?

Hi, I have a SHOWCASE PRESENTS HOUSE OF MYSTERY VOL. 1 to trade. I would be interested in trading for another Showcase Presents/Marvel Essential type book if anyone is interested in swapping.

GREAT! Glad this worked out well. I think we have our first successful comic exchange transaction, guys. Maybe we should keep track of these things like they do in the other exchange forums. It might encourage more deals between people.
