Good idea or bad idea? Sell old SW comics to buy compilations?
 

We're packing up for moving, and I went thru some of my comics to make some room. I'm definitely selling all my old Star Trek comics, but I'm not sure on the Star Wars, I have several dozen of the old Marvel SW comics that I'd like to keep for the stories, but was wondering if the Dark Horse Compilations are a good substitute? I'm sure the image quality is better, and no ads of course. Has the entire Marvel run been compiled?

Yep, Dark Horse compiled the entire series. They're pretty nice collections, but a tad expensive. I bet you can get 'em for 50% off though (mile high has all trades for 30% off). I'd suggest getting them if you think you'll read them more than once. If not, why bother.

But if you are seriously thinking of selling you SW comics and they are in near mint condition, let me know. I'm looking to finish my set (the collector in me can't abide from having 75% of the Marvel run). If you're interested, shoot me an email with a list of what you have.

I've got #90 something through the end of the series (art got horrible). Are these worth anything?
