Wow, looking back on this I'm going to miss this yearly tradition. Thank you Charles M. Schulz |

I've waited this long to read through all of them. I'm finicking like that I guess. :) |

*clap clap clap* to those of who who've stuck with it and gotten the entire collection. I can only imagine how awesome that looks on the shelf! I did stop, it just got too expensive to keep going. Great collection though.
I did get the four "weekday strip" big-book collections that were at Costco... |
Re: The One and Only: The Complete Peanuts Collection - 1950-2000
Today for my job (I'm a reporter for a local magazine here in Ottawa), I interviewed the last living member of the Vince Guaraldi Tril, Jerry Granelli...chatting for a good 40 minutes or so about Charlie Brown, the Peanuts music and, of course, the Christmas Special. It was really interesting getting his views on the popularity of Peanuts in the early 60s and what this music still means to him today.
he was impressed about me owning all 50 years of the strip :p |

Cool! I'm a big Guaraldi fan. Please post the interview here when it's published, unless you don't want out yourself, of course. ;)

Nice article. I hadn't realized how edgy that show must have been. CBS didn't want to play jazz? Wow.

Wasn't sure if this deserved its own thread, but since this subforum is so active I'll just put it here. Saturday, November 26th 2022 marks what would have been Charles Shultz's 100th birthday, and a bunch of comic strip cartoonists are doing tribute things in their own strips. From what I gathered, some are full-on tributes and others will be more "Easter egg" acknowledgements. Very cool for someone who made such an impact on comics. I will be checking out more than my regular daily strips, for sure!

Saturday! And there are also a number of online sites that are comics-centric; gocomics.com probably the best (IMHO).
