Marvel dotcomics!

I know that I'm about 2 years late to this phenomenon but I just wanted to make sure everybody here knows about this.

You can get free selected comics at www.marvel.com . They are presented in flash and are really well done. I think they through a lot of work to recreate what it is actually like reading a comic (to bad I can't haul my monitor to the toilet though  ). I never checked it out before because I thought it wouldn't work and I wouldn't be able to get into the story.

However, free comics is better than no comics. Due to economic, space, and maturity reasons (got married), I no longer collect the 20 bucks per week worth of books I used to. This is a great way for me to at least keep up with my favorite characters.

They release two new dotcomics a week!

I wish DC did this, I miss Detective Comics.

I like this as well. Better than paying $3-$5 an issue. If Marvel started some kind of online service where all their comics could be read online for a reasonable monthly fee I would be interested. I just want to read them, not collect them.

Thats a great idea! I would gladly pay 10 bucks a month for access to their entire monthly catalog (in a higher rez version of course).

It'd be cool if they did some 'landmark' back issues too.

Hey that's not too bad. Thanks for pointing it out.

CrossGen also has their own version of Marvel's DotComics. You can find those at http://www.comicsontheweb.com/slushfactory
