anyone ever read the Unibomber Manifesto? or any kind of militia manifesto just to be curious about that stuff?

I read it back in the day, shortly after it first appeared in the media and online.

It didn't read like a typical rambling angry manifesto. It reads a lot more like a essay written for a college class, in a non-emotional almost-neutral style of language.

If the author was unknown (ie. if kaczynsky was never caught), I would have thought it was written by a college professor or grad student. In some passages about children, it almost reads like something autobiographical to the author.
