Only about 60 pages in, but it's a wonderful read so far. I'm developing a crush on Carrie all over again.

I actually work with these cells, so this has been on my "to-read" list for some time.
I won't finish my next book for some time because it's a 1000+ page monster:
I loved Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy (the only thing of his that I've read), so my hopes are high. I hope this series is like that one where each book is somewhat stand-alone (since wikipedia says this planned as a 10-book series, and only three have been published so far). Though unlike other fantasy authors (Martin, Rothfuss), Sanderson seems like the sort to treat his readers reasonably when it comes to a series.

Re: What Are You Reading? (January 2019)
I am going to read Atlas Shrugged. All my friends suggest me to read it. But I am a person who reads without pauses, and the book is big - so I need a day or even two to finish it.
That is why I am just going to.

A fun page-turner with a mix of action, sci-fi, and horror that I'm game for. A bit silly at times. Apparently the author is Michael Marshall (Smith) who's been on my radar for a while but I never got around to reading anything of his.

Two thirds of the way through in two days. Can't put it down (I just don't have more time available to read). First book in ages that grabs me. Also fascinating to read info about it such as the association of Auschwitz who verifies facts says there's a lot of fabrications and inaccuracies and the author saying it's not her job to verify it's accurate and her number being wrong and the protagonist's name mispelled etc. etc.
