Need help with a book title
 

Don't remember much about it except that it is recent (last year or 2), fantasy and the cover of the Hard Back had a picture of a small red??? door that looked like it opened beneath a Castle or city.

I think from the synopsis that one end of the door connected this world and the other end another world. There were robberies committed on earth and one day a bystander saw the crooks passing thru the door and followed them.

No answer here, but same question with a new book... I think it's a recent book.

Plot point hinges on investigator (or someone similar/protagonist) seeing a picture of the suspect's girlfriend sitting on top of a stolen bomb. I believe the . Thanks! Bugging me.
