Re: Blood Red by Jason Bovberg (apocalyptic fiction)

Hey, thanks guys, cool to see this here! I'm really happy with DRAW BLOOD. I'm halfway finished with BLOOD DAWN, the final book, and hope to have it out by Halloween. I really appreciate the support. Hope you like the way the trilogy finishes up.

Re: Blood Red by Jason Bovberg (apocalyptic fiction)

I just now finished Blood Red and really enjoyed it. It's a nice, ahem, "twist" (*groan*) on your average zombie story. I'll be reading a genre palate cleanser next, but intend on jumping into the next book in the series right after that.

I read Red Rising recently (lots of Rs there...). It took a while to get into, but I ended up liking it pretty well once it got into the "hunger games" section. The sequel will be next up for me. I'm glad to hear things improve.

The first two books were awesome, there are a few really grotesque scenes that still stick with me.
Can't wait to read the finale in the fall!

I just searched the thread out to bump and ask about any news regarding book 3. I see my quoted post above and looks like I somehow posted here when it was supposed to go in a "what are you reading" thread. Sorry!

Anyway, any new info? I thought I saw something recently about it but can't find that info now.

Hey Mr. Banjo, thanks for chiming in! In fact, the final book BLOOD DAWN just recently went on sale. A little later than I hoped, but the trilogy is done! I'm proud of it. It's suitably splatterific, and I think it brings Rachel's story to a fitting end.
