Casino Royale, Live and Let Die, Dr No, From Russia With Love, On Her Majesties Secret Service, and most of the stories in For Your Eyes Only are my favorites. But all of them are great, EXCEPT for The Spy Who Loved Me and Diamonds Are Forever.

I pretty much agree with your list of the best ones. The first half of Diamonds are Forever is excellent. It doesn't get draggy until the climactic train chase.

Some of the best stories are in For Your Eyes Only. Did they ever use the plot points of The Hildebrand Rarity in a movie?

I bought all 14. I don't have a Kindle yet but I have the Kindle app on my phone. I'm a physical media guy and I hate that you can't essentially rip a book onto your Kindle after buying the physical copy iPod-style but for $2 I probably wouldn't mind buying them all twice. I had all the physical copies in my cart a few weeks ago (I have Casino Royale from the last group of releases but was gonna buy it again to match the other 13) but I couldn't pull the trigger on 14 books at $8 each at the time. Now I'll probably just keep an eye out for a sale on the physical books. Of course now I want a Kindle as well which is probably the whole point of this promotion.

Still, right now I have the entire Ian Fleming Bond canon on my iPhone which is pretty cool.
