Re: What are you reading? March 2011
I'm leaving for vacation on Sunday, and I have
ready to go on my Kindle. I just reread Name of the Wind a couple weeks ago, and I can't wait to start this. The reviews thus far look promising.

I'm reading The Great Gatsby for the first time. One of the people I've "met" online who has Crohn's teaches English, so on a lark I decided I would read along with her class and try my hand at her assignment(s). If nothing else, it's an impetus to finally get around to the novel. I just finished the first chapter. I quickly decided to "cast" Mila Kunis as Daisy in my head. Her excitable inflections seemed to fit the character very nicely.

The first and third books are fantastic, the middle book "Theodore Rex" made me want to put a gun to my head. I guess I'd rather hear of Teddy traveling out West, being a Rough Rider or on an African safari then being President.
I recommend The Wilderness Warrior: Theodore Roosevelt and the Crusade for America by Douglas Brinkley before I would recommend any of the Morris books.
