I've read all of P&C's Pendergast novels, and I'm really looking forward to checking out the beginning of a new series.

My favorites for this month:



And I was particularly blown away by how much I enjoyed this one.



As a rule, I don't like fantasy novels. Other than George RR Martin's SONG OF ICE AND FIRE, most of them I've read came across like warmed over Tolkien. But I loved Rothfuss's entire universe and storytelling stlyle. Book 2 comes out tomorrow. CANNOT WAIT.

In the meantime I've been re-reading one of my alltime faves:
