The big making of Star Wars book from a couple years back was a great book and the upcoming Empire one looks poised to match it. I'm wondering if there were making of books for the prequels of the same caliber, or were they just the usual EPK style "look at all the pretty pictures" types. Do they go into detail like the SW one?

what interesting is that the author of the mammoth Star Wars and Empire Strikes books, also did the much shorter and less expensive Making of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

I would be shocked if books as blunt about the prequel films will ever see the light of day, at least those with support from LucasFilm.

I'll keep an eye out at the used book stores for this one at least, if it's cheap enough I might grab it.
