Which Grimm's Fairy Tales, Hans Christian Anderson, and Aesop's Fables books to get?
I want to buy books containing all of or as many as possible of the Grimm's Fairy Tales, Hans Christian Anderson stories, and Aesop's Fables. Does anyone know which specific editions I should get?
I considered getting this Barnes And Noble Classics series of the Grimm's Fairy Tales, but even though the paperback is said to be complete several people that have reviewed it say it was edited for content.

For Grimm's and Anderson's fairy tales I'd go with Barnes & Noble's leatherbound editions.
I bought the Alice in Wonderland leatherbound they recently released and couldn't ask for a better presentation. Being one of my favorite books I was looking for an attractive, definite version to own and the leatherbound fits the bill. Very happy with it.

The best editions I have seen are the annotated editions from W.W. Norton. I own these (among others from their series) and can confirm that they're really fantastic.

They have a whole host of other annotated books as well.

The Annotated Andersen is indeed beautiful, but it doesn't claim to be complete, while the Barnes & Noble leatherbound editions are (or claim to be).
