Kindle question
Hi everyone,
We're still looking into a Kindle and had a question: My mother-in-law has a Kindle and says you can put purchased books onto a maximum of 6 units. If we buy one, can we load some of her books onto our unit? |
Re: Kindle question
This should probably go in this thread: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/book-talk/5...er-thread.html
But in answer to your question, I believe you can load her books onto your unit only if both Kindles are registered to the same Amazon account (so if you were buying books on your Kindle, her account would be getting charged). If your Kindle is linked to your own Amazon account, then you would not be able to load her books. |
Re: Kindle question
Wally is right, I believe. The 6 limit is per account devices.

Re: Kindle question
A lot of people share their books by unregistering and registering their Kindles between accounts. I think the books could stay on the Kindle as long as they are not manually deleted.
