Books on American indians and / or the American Indian Wars

I have long been fascinated with the American Indian and their Wars with the US. I do have books on Crazy Horse, Geronimo, The French and Indian War to start me off on my collection of books to read. What i'm looking for now are books that deal with the actual truth of what really happened to the Indians and their wars. Does anyone know of any books on this subject that are completely true and deal only with what actually happened and not loaded with false information?

This is kind of a hard question as none of us were actually there so nobody knows what really is "completely true" you can just hope for different points of view at this point.

That being said, if you want books written by the Lakota point of view I would suggest reading any book by Joseph M. Marshall III http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/ref=ntt_athr_dp_sr_1?%5Fencoding=UTF8&sort=relevancerank&search-type=ss&index=books&field-author=Joseph%20M.%20Marshall%20III

I have read The Journey of Crazy Horse: A Lakota History and The Day the World Ended at Little Bighorn: A Lakota History and both of which were great books and I learned a lot about Lakota culture. I would also highly recommend A Terrible Glory: Custer and the Little Bighorn - the Last Great Battle of the American West by James Donovan.

Geronimo wrote an autobiography, which I presume is accurate. There's an online version available.

I just started yesterday to read The Truth about Geronimo by Britton Davis.
I do have The Journey of Crazy Horse and Troopers with Custer but I haven't been able to read them yet.
Also next week sometime I plan to buy Gall, but it will be a while before I can read it.
