"The Basketball Diaries" by Jim Carroll - there's mention of a "brother," but....

I read the book (really should have been called "The Drugs Diaries") and liked it; liked the film, too.

While Jim Carroll makes mention of a mother, father, and brother, there really is no history - either in his book or elsewhere - on his relationship with them. What I'm really curious to know is his relationship with his brother......was his brother younger or older? Did he do drugs with his brother, or was his brother "clean?"
