I just finished the series for the first time, so I was eager to find out more about all the different metaphors. The essays are great for looking at parts of the show from different angles. After I finish this I plan on reading "Five Seasons of Angel".

Really enjoying Woken Furies so far after reading the first two in the trilogy during the past month.

About half way though The Door Into Summer and it's good enough thus far but it does seem to show it's age.

Re: What are you reading? (May 2009)

I'm still working on reading Breaking Dawn, but I took a break and read a couple of graphic novels:

Unmanned Y: The Last Man Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughn and Pia Guerra

Scott Pilgrim Vol. 1: Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life by Bryan Lee O'Malley

Y: The Last Man is pretty amazing. The first volume already ranks among the greatest comic/graphic novels that I have ever read. I'm going to have to blow the rest of my monthly spending money on getting the rest of the volumes now.
