It's been at least three or four years since I've read much short fiction, so I've decided to start the following collections. I plan to switch between the four until I finish them or decide to take a break for something else.

Just finished:
Pygmy by Chuck Palahniuk
If you ask me this was easily his best novel since Choke, and that is saying something.

I loved Rant - it only gets better on each read-through because I pick up on more little details I missed or forgot about before. But as good as Rant was, I believe Pygmy is even better. Just classic, vintage Chuck. And the ending - well, I know people have complained that Chuck doesn't know how to end a book, but I really liked how he ended Pygmy. It'll be interesting seeing peoples opinions on it when it comes out.

I'd be curious to hear what you thought of this. I read it and enjoyed it, but I can't really remember much about it. His second book, The Sanctuary, was a huge letdown, IMO.

Just finished "The Callahan Chronicles" by Spider Robinson on audiobooks and now listening to "The Worthing Saga" by Orson Scott Card.
I get so sleepy on my long commute, I discovered that listening to a book keeps me awake more than just listening to the radio.

Just finished reading 'I hope they serve beer in hell' by Tucker Max
I am not a big reader, I prefer lighter books like this one. Roald Dahl is my favorite though

Just finished Steve Berry's Venetian Betrayal and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A thoroughly confusing, meandering read. I enjoyed most of Berry's other work, but not this one. His new one (The Charlemagne Pursuit) is also a Cotton Malone novel, so hopefully he can get back on track again.
