The Introducing Series.
I love this series and have decided to get them all. There's currently 73 books, and I plan to get and read one a week. Anyone else into the series? Which one do you recommend I start with? All of these are available at Amazon.
They introduced new editions for the majority of them. The ones without a new edition (black cover) are at the bottom - I plan to get those last in case a new edition comes out. http://www.iconbooks.co.uk/intro.cfm 56 books $622.91 ~$11.12 each 1 book a week Postmodernism Foucault Nietzsche Philosophy Sociology Anthropology Psychoanalysis Political Philosophy Rousseau Darwin Kierkegaard Empiricism Evolution Evolutionary Psychology Genetics Stephen Hawking Hinduism Christianity Islam Buddha Eastern Philosophy Feminism Aesthetics Kafka Camus Linguistics Chomsky The Enlightenment Romanticism Modernism Existentialism Sartre Wittgenstein Heidegger Hegel Kant Plato Aristotle Descartes Newton Mathematics Relativity The Universe Barthes Media Studies Cultural Studies Critical Theory Fractal Geometry Chaos Time Consciousness Melanie Klein Jung Lacan Semiotics Derrida (17) + 56 = 73 books American Politics (old) The Holocaust (old) Trotsky and Marxism (old) Freud (old) Psychiatry (old) Psychotherapy (old) Psychology (not found) Darwin And Evolution (old) Einstein (old) Environmental Politics (old) Baudrillard (old) Science (Studies, old edition) Mind And Brain (not found) Ethics (sold out) Bertrand Russell (old edition) Shakespeare (old edition) Marx (old edition) |
