Stephen King short story collection "Just Past Sunset" 11/08

We have received the list of stories that will be included in Steve's new short story collection, Just Past Sunset, which will be published in November '08. There may be one more bonus story, but this is the list so far:

The Gingerbread Girl

Harvey’s Dream

Rest Stop

Stationary Bike

The Things They Left Behind

Willa

Graduation Afternoon

N.

The New York Times at Special Bargain Rates

Mute

Ayana

A Very Tight Place
I know I've read Rest Stop before, but I do not recall where...

I think it was published in GQ or Esquire. I read it too. I've also read

Gingerbread Girl (Esquire)
Harvey's Dream (New Yorker???)
The Things They Left Behind (Transgressions)

I am looking forward to reading the rest. What I like about Stephen's short stories is that he is forced to not be so wordy!!

Very cool.

I think I still have a few more stories left to read in "Everything's Eventual."

This gives me some more incentive to finish them up.

Great news. I've always liked the short stories, as a whole, more than the novels.

Looks like a pretty solid collection. I've already read about half of the stories and most were very good. I've been enjoying his short stories a lot more than his novels lately for some reason, at least since the DT series ended.

Speaking of the DT - who's excited for the second volume of the comic book? First issue hits today!
