Help Me Remember The Title Of This Book!
 

I'm trying to remember the name of a book I read about 5 years ago in high school. The general story goes like this; A man lives alone and eventually kidnaps a girl he is "in love" with. He buys her clothes and feeds her, and she eventually dies. One part of the book is written by him, and the second part of the book is her diary version of the events.

Any ideas?
