Where to start with Alan Furst?

I'm looking at getting into some Alan Furst books. Can anybody recommend one that might be good to start with?

Night Soldiers is the best to start with. Beyond that, The Polish Officer is my favorite, but I haven't been disappointed with any of his stuff.

They are all great.I would probably go with Night Soldiers first.Than World at Night & Red Gold. The last two share the same character other than that the only thing his books share are references to a certain Paris restaurant that comes up in every book.Another writer along these lines is Eric Ambler whose best books were written in the late thirties and forties.

Furst was on Craig Ferguson last night and did a great job, IMO. I'll be starting with The Foreign Correspondent since I got it for my e-reader a few months ago when it was a free offering, but based on all of the good reviews I've read of his writing, I'll probably circle back and read them all, if I find them to be as good as many others seem to have.

The Spies of Warsaw, which came out last year, is good, although a little on the depressing side.
