What are you reading? (December 2007)
|
Started and finished The Jungle Book today. Now I'm staring blankly at my bookcase. I'll probably be reading spines for a couple days.
|
A Brief History of Time. It's one of those books that I've been meaning to read for years.

Currently reading. Really liking it so far and I hope it becomes a series. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...A240_SH20_.jpg |
spent the last 3 weeks finishing up a trio of legal thrillers: Burden of Proof, The Runaway Jury and The Firm.
managed to start on Berlin Noir Trilogy 2 days ago - really have good expectations of this one :) |

The Secret Message of Jesus by McLaren
|
Just started American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I've read his other books plus all Sandman related stuff. I wish he would start writing Sandman stories again.
|
Decided on Pynchon. Gravity's Rainbow, of course. Seventy pages in. Does it get better? Does it get readable? I mean, the guy's obviously some sort of genius, but can he, finally, craft a decent story? Story being the operative word.
I bet he'd write one hell of a collection of essays. (The above questions are rhetorical, of course. Wouldn't wanna threadjack.) |
