That's a good read. It really has a lot of valuable advice for zombies and all other manner of antagonistic monsters. It's a good idea to read a refresher session every so often.

Finished up:

Just read "Silk" by Alessandro Baricco

Alan Cheuse - All Things Considered (NPR)
A riveting, lyrical love story, an accomplished historical fiction, a compact, condensed little epic about human hearts in crisis.
Started "Tales from the Pittsburgh Penguins" by Joe Starkey, Mike Lange (Foreword by)
http://images.barnesandnoble.com/ima...0/12114525.gif

Starkey’s book is a compilation of short stories in Penguins history. Though it’s not designed to be an historical record of the team, it actually encompasses every era of the franchise. “The book is basically a lot of anecdotes and short stories – a lot of them funny – from Penguins history, literally from Day One through Sidney Crosby’s rookie year last year,” he said. “It’s filled with entertaining photos, also, like Jaromir Jagr in a dress. There’s a little bit of everything.”

It's a triptych and, what I thought was going to be be the most boring arc is turning out to be the best one.

+ :( :( :( This is the last Banks book (except Raw Spirit) for me. Until Matter.

I totally want to get to this one. Thanks for posting in image format. Part of my brain has put priority on image over text. I'm not being sarcastic.
sidenote: I just bought World War Z because of this forum. 25 bucks! I hope it's good.

I'll put in my kudo's for American Gods, loved that book! I wish I could have enjoyed the sequel more, but it just fell flat for me. Also, AG seems like it would make a great movie...

Me too, I'm about right in the middle. I read about 20-30 pages a night before bed, and about 50-100 pages on a weekend day.... probably finish late next week. Great book.

I've got about a hundred pages to go - should finish it by the end of the weekend. It's the first vampire novel I have ever read, and I have been pleasantly surprised.
