I'm looking to get a copy of Judy Blume's Tales Of Fourth Grade Nothing in hardcover. I'd prefer a first printing and to get it as cheap as possible.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried ABE Books (abebooks.com)? I just typed in the title, author, hardcover, and first edition, and came up with 11 copies from stores across the nation. Most of them are ex-library, but it looks like there are a few available for a reasonable price. You have to be careful about some of those descriptions, though. Looks like one seller is calling a 2002 reissue a "first edition." I always contact the bookseller by phone and get all the particulars I need.

Nope. Came here first since Book Talk is usually the busiest forum here...

ABE is probably your best bet.
If you're looking for a specific edition, I'd be wary of half.com and amazon.com's used services. ABE is a network of mostly book dealers who should be more knowledgable about which edition is which.
This book is probably difficult to find in anything but an ex-libris state since it's a children's book. Most hardcover copies probably went to libraries and schools.

There you go - $14.95 for a first edition hardcover doesn't seem so bad.

Searches ABE, Bookfinder, Biblio, Alibris, and about 10-12 other online used book sites.

I find it odd that no one has yet commented on the book he's looking for.
Those sites (ABE, Bookfinder, Alibris) tend to feature a lot of the same sellers, so just pick one. I've used ABE in the past and been pleased with it.
