I'm re-reading a lot of his novels at the moment. Currently reading Bluebeard. Almost forgot what a great writer this guy is.
So, what's your favorite novel of his and why?
Obviously I had to leave several of his novels off of the poll so feel free to chime in if I skipped your favorite.

My favorite is Cat's Cradle, followed very closely by Slaughterhouse-Five, Mother Night, and The Sirens of Titans.
Bluebeard was pretty nifty. I didn't care much for the rest. And Breakfast of Champions is overrated.
Or, at least, that's hows I sees it.

My #1 is Cat's Cradle. Next would come Mother Night and The Sirens of Titan. The next group would be God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater, Slaughterhouse 5 and Galapagos.
I would expect Slaughterhouse 5 to win this poll because I'd bet it's the one the most people have read.

I've only read Slaughterhouse 5 (just a couple months ago) and didn't like it at all.
Any reason to give Vonnegut another chance? Or he an author where if you don't like one work, you probably won't like any of them?

I'm happy to see Mother Night regarded so highly by people. It's one of my favorite Vonnegut books and I've always thought it was underappreciated. It's a wonderful story and it's wonderful storytelling.
Breakfast of Champions, Cat's Cradle and Slaughterhouse-Five are classics. I actually really liked his recent works like Hocus Pocus and Timequake as well.

My favorites are Breakfast of Champions and Cat's Cradle. I've never been able to finish either Sirens of Titan or Player Piano. They just don't do it for me. I also really love Deadeye Dick, God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater, Jailbird, Slapstick, and even Bluebeard. I'm not so much of a fan of Slaughterhouse Five, to be honest.

Been ages since I read any Vonnegut, but...
Cat's Cradle felt like his most consistent book; wasn't really expecting that ending.
Next I'd probably put up Slaughterhouse 5, slightly edging out Sirens of Titan.
I was probably too young to really appreciate Breakfast of Champions (I remember cracking up a little too much over the crude beaver drawings), but I'll still put it last anyway.
I read most of these (with the exception of Cat's Cradle) when I was younger, probably around twelve, and was expecting them to be "harder" science fiction. I should probably revisit them sometime.
