Dan Brown's Digital Fortress... Good, Bad, Ugly?

I am thinking about getting this book. I read the short synopsis and it seems like it might be a good book. I have not read any other of Brown's book (even the Da Vinci Code).

What do you think of the book if you have read it?
Thanks.

It was classic Dan Brown. So if you like his stuff, you'll think this was ok. But having read most of his books, I would say that the DaVinci Code was his best effort yet. Then again, I read DaVinci Code first and then the rest of his books, and they all seemed very repetitive.

Just keep in mind he was just starting out at the time, it is nothing like DaVinci Code or even Angels & Demons...

I've read it and its definitely his weakest effort, IMO. Worth a read though...

Whichever DB book you read first will seem pretty good. When you read the rest, you'll notice the pattern. Kind of like M. Knight movies. You spend half your time waiting for the twist.

I didn't like Digital Fortress too much. If you aren't into his religous stuff, try Deception Point...I thought it was a much more interesting read than DF. My favorite is probably Angels and Demons, but they all follow the same pattern.

I just finished DaVinici code and found it to be OK. Was thinking about getting Angels and Demons. I did find the twist in DaVinci Code to be kinda obvious and did think that the ending was a little weak. Are the other books the same way?

I thought Angels and Demons was much better.

I'm reading Digital Fortress right now and enjoying it. If you liked DaVinci Code, you will probably like Digital Fortress.

Reads a lot quicker than DC and AandD, a good read none the less.
