Comedy Central's Colbert to Write Book

First "Fake News," now "Truthiness." The publisher of Jon Stewart's million-selling "America (The Book)" is releasing a book by Stephen Colbert.

Darn, I was hoping for Stephen Colbert's Alpha Squad 7: Lady Nocturne: A Tek Jansen Adventure. This will do.

This is awesome. Colbert Report is one of my absolute favorite shows on TV now, and my favorite show on Comedy Central. His late night show is a thousand times better than the regular staples of Leno/Letterman.

If anyone like Colbert, than they should pick up a book called The Shroud of the Thwacker by Chris Elliot.

At least the article gets it right that he popularized "truthiness"

The title is I AM AMERICA (AND SO CAN YOU!) and is scheduled for release October 9th.

I AM AMERICA (AND SO CAN YOU!) is Stephen Colbert's attempt to wedge his brain between hardback covers. In plain conversational language, not to mention the occasional grunt and/or whistle, Stephen explains his take on the most pressing concerns of our culture: Faith, Family, Politics...Hygiene.
