Man great choice on the Mitch Rapp novels by Vince Flynn.

I found those books last year and read all of them up to Memorial Day (a new book at the time) within a few weeks. I just recently finishing Consent to Kill, the new addition to the series. I love those books

Just finishing "Voyage of the Beagle "--beautiful and highly readable, would recommend to anyone, especially those interested in the theory of evolution, but afraid of being bogged down by scientific jargon.

Trying to decide what to read next. I have plenty of books here, just can't decide what I'm in the mood for.

Are those "Hard Case Crime" books worth picking up? I read the Stephen King one and was a bit disappointed. Any recommendations on which I should tackle next?

I've read both, and the long version is better IMHO. I was living in Boulder Colorado where much of the tale takes place when the second version came out. It was very cool to recognize streets and other local landmarks.

Just finished Jim Cramer's Real Money: Sane Investing in an Insane World and I'm currently reading 1776 by David McCullough.

I like them quite a bit (although I too was slightly disappointed with King's contribution).

The following stand out:

Grifter's Game
Top of the Heap
Two for the Money
The Confession
Plunder of the Sun

But my favorite to date is:
