Who is your favorite Harry Potter character?

I got bored waiting for the book, and needed something to waste time with in between work. I couldn't fit them all. So I chose the mainer characters forgive me if your character is in other (Mine is - Tonks).

Upon just finishing Order of the Phoenix for the second time, my current favorite character is Neville Longbottom. I'm looking forward to what happens with him and Snape in the next book.

He was my favorite for books 3 and 4, for sure. I like the outcast-ish characters.

Ron hands down. From day 1:

Hermione: pretend to break your leg
Ron: really break your leg!

I took the top 9 off of another forum's write in poll. Figured they would be enough. ::Leaves to cry::

My vote had to go with the Weasley twins, for all the mischief that they have done, my hats off to them.

Snape, but that's based on the movies. I've not read the books. (love Alan Rickman)

Snape, because he's so evil and twisted and hilarious. I love seeing what nasty things he'll come up with to say to people. Plus, I'm absolutely dying to find out his backstory. Which I can do right now since I have the book

After reading Prince, it definitely is still, and will probably 'til the end of the saga, Ron.

Ron is way cooler in the books than he is in the movies.

In the movies my favorite is Snape because Alan Rickman is so deliciously snide in that character.

In the books my favorite is a toss up between Ron, Moody, and Lupin, although Ginny's starting to become cool in a Fred and George kind of way.

I'm surprised that many people voted for Hermoine. She must be one of my least favorite characters throughout the books, coming off as a stuck up and annoying girl

I believe the term applied is "Insufferable know-it-all".

I really do love Snape in the movies.
