What can be used to protect autographed books?

For autographed magazines I have a cardboard and plastic to protect it. What can be used for books? Be it hardcover or softcover

What kind of protection are you looking for? You could always wrap it up in plastic or something. Collectible paperbacks are usually kept in those same type of plastic bags that you'd put a comic book in.

The usual thing to do with hardcover books is cover the book jacket in a mylar cover (I like Broadarts). Other than that, books don't really require much protection, as long as you take care of them.

Yea I got regular comic bags for the softcover.

For the hardcover I have it in a big zip lock bag.

If you Brodart the jacket and put it in a bookcase, your hardbacks will be fine. Unless you've got the Guttenberg Bible or something.

Where do you get a bookcase? Also, can Brodarts be found in stores? I wouldn't like to buy some only to find out they don't fit or something.
