$1 million treasure hunt hidden in pages of fairy tale

There's an unclaimed $1 million out there -- somewhere. The jackpot is actually 12 jewels hidden in very public places around the United States. Think diamonds, think rubies, think the rarest, most perfect Kashmir sapphire. All you need to do to get any or all the gems is to decipher clues in the book "A Treasure's Trove." The clues lead to a dozen 18-karat gold tokens. Author Michael Stadther, who hid each of the tokens himself, promises that they are all in public places where they can be easily accessed without digging, moving or disturbing objects or structures. Once a token is in hand, it can be redeemed for one of the jewels. And Stadther is releasing a clue not contained in the book for the first time this week: "Hint: Tackle repositories." |
I hear about this book a while back. I think a co-worker had seen it featured on The Today Show. Anyone here looked at this book and looked for any of the tokens?

Better yet anyone have a list of the clues?

I want to know more about this but can find anything really different than what is posted here. Anyone know of any forum that this book and hunt is discussed on?

It seems kind of pointless because you would have to fly around the country to check out any possible hunches.

Of course you could always get a bunch of people from around the country to work together, you can do that perhaps on a forum. :)

My friend has a copy of the book ... i glanced through it, but I found the illustrations to be so bad that I couldn't even begin to start looking for clues.
